Firm founder Jim Roberts completed his undergraduate education at the University of Alabama and received his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he served on the Cumberland Law Review.   He served as a law clerk to a federal judge in Mobile and has practiced in Mobile and Baldwin counties for more than 20 years.

Mr. Roberts is active in the Mobile and Baldwin County Bar Associations as well as the Alabama Bar Association and American Bar Association.  He is the current Municipal Judge in Spanish Fort, Alabama, and works frequently with financial consultants and accounting professionals on seminars pertaining to estate planning, wills, trusts and business matters.

Mr. Roberts is actively involved in church and community.  He is a member of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church and the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce.  He is married and has five children.

The law office focuses on each client's background, needs, and goals and are committed to responding promptly to telephone calls, to reporting on cases regularly, and to minimizing and eliminating risk by informing clients of significant changes in the law.

Many of the cases that come to Mr. Roberts reveal related matters.  Often, a client's needs are not limited to one legal matter.  For example, an estate plan may include handling a real estate matter, an adoption may bring up the need for an estate plan, or a small business formation may demonstrate the need for some advanced business planning.  A variety of legal matters can be handled by him.

Mr. Roberts has dedicated his practice to personal attention, responsiveness, and accessibility.  While every case is different, his experience and commitment to quality representation will provide the best methods available to protect you and serve as a foundation for long-standing relationships with clients and the community.
